Ingredients:
- Half cup grated dry coconut
- Oil
- 2 sliced onion
- Chopped Ginger
- 7 to 8 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon kitchen king masala
- Salt to taste
- Hot water
- Half tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 4 to 5 dry Red Chillies( less spicy)
- 1 Small Bowl Shev (Medium Spicy Red Colour )
- 2 Black paper (it's a khada masala)
- One piece of cinnamon (it's a khada masala)
- 2 Cardamom (it's a khada masala)
- 2 Clove (it's a khada masala)
- Coriander leaves
- 1 bay leaf
- One tablespoon badishefa.
Method :
- Hit up a pan on medium heat add all standing spices (Khade masale) and dry red chillies and badishefa and roast it all.
- Then add coconut and roast until it gets nice reddish colour.
- Transfer the all standing spices( kade Masale) and coconut in a mixi blender jar.
- In the same pan add some oil.
- .Add sliced onion and ginger garlic cloves and fry on medium heat until it onion gets nice reddish colour.
- Transfer the onions ginger, garlic in blender jar and blend the masala into fine paste. (For a fine paste of masala add very little some water and blend it again ) make sure that you use minimum water at the time of blending masala.
- Heat up 3 Table Spoon oil in a pan and add 1 Bay Leaf and blendded masala.
- Fry the masala for about 4 to 5 minutes.( Until it releases oil)
- Add red chilli powder add Kitchen King masala add turmeric powder add coriander powder and mix it well.
- add hot water and mix well then add some quantity of shev( u add shev also while surving the dish) and mix well add salt to taste and mix well.
- Boil the gravy about 7 to 8 minutes.
- You can adjust the consistency according to your taste.
- Turn off the gas.
- Garnished shevbhaji with chopped coriander leaves.
- Shevbhaji is ready to eat.u can eat shevbhaji with chappaties, fulkas and jeera rice
- Add a little salt into the onion while frying if we do that onion frying quickly.
- If you don't want to add Khade masale instead of that you add some garam masala powder.
- Kitchen king masala is optional, you can add any other Shevbhaji Masala is available in the Market.
